60s IDAHO NATIVE AMERICAN PICTURES

£40.00

DESCRIPTION
A super cool set of seven pictures (one colour and six black and white) taken from an Italian girl-scout during a trip to USA for the Girl Scout Senior Roundup, in 1965. The pictures were taken somewhere in Idaho, therefore the Native Americans people present in the pictures, should be from one of the following tribes: the Shoshone-Bannock, the Shoshone-Paiute, the Coeur d'Alene, the Kootenai, and the Nez Perce.

The largest group in northern Idaho are the Nez Perce, most of whom live in the lower Clearwater valley. Southern Idaho Indians differ from the three northern groups both in language and in culture (way of life). The two major southern groups are the Shoshoni and the Northern Paiute.

MATERIAL Paper.

YEAR 1965.

CONDITION Great vintage condition. Some minor tears or glue marks on the back.

MEASUREMENTS
The six black and white pictures are 10.5 cm x 7.6 cm.
The polaroid is 9 cm x 9 cm.
