Founded in 1892 as D. Lewis Ltd, this iconic British brand began by crafting rainwear, later pivoting to aviation and motorcycle gear. It became a symbol of rebellion in the 1950s–70s, adopted by everyone from "Ton-Up Boys" and rockers to punk legends like The Clash and Sex Pistols.

MATERIAL Genuine leather.

YEAR 1960s. According to the Lewis Leathers website, the first Aviakit black and red labels have been introduced in 1965/66 and chanced to the blue and red label in the early 1970s. 

CONDITION Great strong condition with little signs of wear (please consider it's a 60 years old jacket). Leather is thick and soft. Hanging loop broken but easy to get fixed. Some minor oxidation marks on waist adjusters. Zippers and snaps buttons all in perfect working condition. No holes or rips. Liner is in an immaculate shape. No funky smell and ready to be worn like it is!
