70s REDLINE LEVI'S 501XX JEANS

DESCRIPTION
An iconic selvedge Levi's 501XX from the late 70s early 80s.
Button-fly top button is marked with a 524 stamp (USA factory).
The red tab on the back right pocket has only a ®.
The circled R tab was issued only for 1 pair of jeans out of 100, and therefore make this piece slightly rarer.

- Selvedge.
- ‘Black bar’ bartacks.
- Red tab.
- Made in USA.
Personally I love the beautiful fade with 'train tracks' along each side and the way the legs have twisted.
FABRIC 100% cotton.
YEAR 1970/1980s.
CONDITION Killer patina. Super solid condition. Levi's patch is tatty but still present. Red tab in great condition. Pockets in great condition. Legs have been shorten on a previous stage.
SIZE Size on tag says W 36 L 36 but they fit smaller. Please see actual measurements.
MEASUREMENTS
Waist - 34 inches.
Leg - 40 inches.
Inside leg - 29.5 inches.
Hem - 8.5 inches.
