DESCRIPTION Stow is Tricker's most iconic men's boot. Discover the enduring appeal of the Stow Country Boot in C‑Shade, a true icon of Tricker's British heritage. Once designed for the countryside, this boot now enjoys global admiration, from rural trails to urban streets, with a rich deep brown tone reminiscent of a perfectly pulled espresso. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the boot to provide a water resistant seal, with the storm welt providing an additional water resistant seal between the shoe's upper and sole. Our classic Stow boot features leather linings and the option of either a traditional leather sole or a Dainite sole for more practicality.

LEATHER A deep, rich brown just like a really good espresso should be. The Espresso Burnished colourway is the perfect tone for those not wanting to wear black. Perfect for all occasions and beautiful when ages and full of the character gained from plenty of wear.
This Stow is made from calf leather. Calf leather is finer grained, and lighter in weight than the hide of older cattle. This means that it is also more supple. It is also very durable in comparison to its thickness.
We advise using a Brown polish to help care for these Stow boots. As you put the polish on, darker patches will appear which is the burnish. Don't be afraid, this is the affect of the shoe.

FIT This last has been used for decades. It is part of our history and character as England's oldest shoe manufacturer.
The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (4497s) is true to size, we recommend sticking to your regular than a regular UK.

SOLE The Double Leather Sole - Double leather soles are stiffer, wear much longer with more visual weight. Footwear with this sole literally have an extra layer of leather providing greater durability and comfort across rough surfaces. The double sole will provide more structure and protection needed in Tricker’s country, tramping, hunting, or walking boots and shoes.

A thin rubber soles have added back in time after purchasing the boots.

CONDITION Great strong condition with minor signs of wear. Rubber outsoles have been added straight after purchasing the boots, therefore the original leather outsole is immaculate. Heels have been previously replaced. Leather is still pretty soft and perfectly broken in. They come with the original box (damaged lead), two branded shoe-bags, one branded shoe-cloth, original Tricker's after care pamphlet.
