BRAND Sartorial made.

DESCRIPTION
Really a unique, stunning museum piece!
This waistcoat was made in America at the beginning of the last century.
I'm not sure if it was meant for an everyday use or some special attire, but surely it comes from a wealthy home... I like to imagining its original owner wearing it after dinner (underneath of a smoking jacket) while sipping a good whiskey!
Nowadays I guess it would look great with a white tuxedo but also just with a shirt and pair of distressed jeans.
Details include:
- Hand made.
- Amazing embroidery.
- Covered buttons.
- Rounded lapels.
- Cinch-back.
- Three pockets.

Today, to have something like that made, would cost at least £2000...

FABRIC I reckon silk.

YEAR Difficult to date with precision, but I would say 1930s, or older.

CONDITION Many signs of wear (mainly on the back collar) and some stains (inside). The front is pretty clean. Cinch-back button is partially broken (but still working). No funny smell as it usually happens with antique clothing.
Overall in good strong condition, especially if you consider it's almost 100 years old!

SIZE ON LABEL N/A. Please see actual measurements and estimated size.

ESTIMATED SIZE men M-L / women L-XL.

MEASUREMENTS
Chest (pit to pit) - 20.5 inches.
Length (front) - 24.5 inches.
Length (back) - 12.5.
Shoulders - 14 inches.
