40s US ARMY 2nd PATTERN HBT SHIRT (3)

DESCRIPTION
One of my favourite HBT shirts (jackets) in a very good size and with lots of character!
Officially called "Jacket, Herringbone Twill, Special OD Shade 7"
This was the standard US Army HBT uniform and was made in the correct OD#7 (Olive drab shade no7) green colour which was introduced in March 1943 and was issued in time for the D-Day landings in Normandy.
FABRIC 100% cotton.
YEAR WW2 Era.
CONDITION Signs of wear everywhere! Some cool repairs.
Overall still in very good conditions, especially if you consider that this jacket has probably seen some action during the WW2.
The gas flap behind the front opening, has been stitched on the bottom of the jacket and therefore is not "flapping" around anymore.
