40/50s FRENCH WORK COAT

DESCRIPTION
A 1940/50s French salt n' pepper cotton twill work coat (shop coat, atelier coat, duster, chore coat... traditionally worn by shopkeepers and traders, factory machinists and other craftspeople).

MATERIAL 100% cotton.
YEAR 40/50s.
CONDITION Despite the age the coat is in great condition. Some original old repairs on the back. Little boro patch on the inside buttons placket (this is a much more recent repair). Top button hole has been restitched (period repair).
Some stains on the left D-pocket (in real are not so visible as in pictures).
All original buttons.
