DESCRIPTION
A great sage green N-3B snorkel parka, perfect for the coming winter season!

- Contractor label still present.
- Soldier name written on label and liner.
- Colmar zipper.
- Reinforced elbow patches.
- A full-length storm flap.
- Inset knit cuffs.
- Coyote fur trim on hood.
- Shearling lined front pockets.
- Sleeve pocket.
- Adjustable draw cord/take-up strap
- Made in USA.
The original N-3B parka was developed in the 1950s for U.S. flight crews stationed in extremely cold, windy climates. Also known as the 'Snorkel Parka', they could zip it closed all the way past their noses, leaving just a hole to see out of – like a snorkel.
FABRIC Nylon.
YEAR 1964.
CONDITION A few minor rips (please see pictures). Two missing buttons. Coyote trim on hood has a missing "patch". Snap buttons and zippers are perfectly working. Overall in great solid condition.
