I purchased this one, many year ago, during one of my trips in Japan.
For what I could understand, these kind of truncheons were not part of the basic military kit, but they were often used by the Japanese Military Police as well as by some higher grade officer...
MATERIAL Bamboo and leather strap.
YEAR WW2 Era.
CONDITION Great condition and incredible patina. Some minor dryness on the leather strap.
LENGTH 25.5 inches.
