Nigel’s mighty Everest Parka is an iconic parka first introduced in the 2003 'The Ascent of Cabourn' Limited Edition collection inspired by Sir Edmund Hillary's expedition to the summit of Everest and the clothes he and his team wore on their journey. This classic and highly desirable piece of outerwear is designed and manufactured to the highest quality and has been designed and produced in England using British-made Ventile.

Details include:
- Three-panel snorkel design hood with wire support, sheepskin lining and trimmed with Coyote fur.
- Ventile shell hand filled with the finest goose down.
- Draw waist tied with cotton canvas weave draw tape.
- Two large storm-envelope pockets on the front with additional side entry secured by real horn buttons.
- Two inside chest pockets.
- Waxed draw cords with hand tied hangman knot and wooden locks.
- Sheepskin collar from Devon, UK.
- Coyote fur from Canada.
- Goose down from Hungary.
- RiRi Zippers from Italy.
- Horn buttons from UK.
- Made in England.
- It comes with all the original tags and a spare button.
- Rare yellow survival colour with orange lining.

YEAR This is from one of the first yellow batches (with the orange lining). I reckon is from approximately 2012.

CONDITION The parka is still in excellent condition.
It has some sign of wear and marks (the majority on the sleeves and on the inside - they mainly came rubbing against the jeans).
Sincerely I preferred not to clean the parka because I like it more when it has a more worn look. That said, despite what it says on the label, the parka can actually be washed in the washing machine, with a cold and delicate program without tumble dry.
