Super cool and amazingly distressed.
In 1996, Ralph Lauren launched the Polo Jeans Company brand, focusing on denim and American casual wear, a natural extension of his well-established and iconic American lifestyle brand. The brand distinguished itself with unique washing techniques and a focus on high-quality, stylish, and durable denim that captured the spirit of American casualness.
Ralph Lauren Corporation discontinued the US market for the Polo Jeans brand in 2006/2007 because the brand was "over-promoted and over-distributed” and to expand other denim lines, such as Double-RL.
Since Polo Jeans have been shut down in 2007, their products have became pretty rare and collectable - especially in the Japanese vintage scene.
FABRIC 100% cotton.
YEAR Late 1990s.
CONDITION Super cool vintage condition. Killer fade and patina with amazing paint stains all over. Waistband cut off from previous owner. Neck label missing. Strong fabric but still super soft.
