BRAND US Navy.

DESCRIPTION
I had this beauty for many years, but due to the many requests (and many bills to pay), I decided to give it a go and put this bomb for sale... knowing myself, I will probably regret this, and change my mind soon...

The aircraft carrier deck crew wore N-1 deck jackets during World War II and the Korean War. The thick cotton shell and alpaca or wool lining gave the deck crew the needed warmth and protection from the elements during extreme cold weather conditions. US Navy produced the initial series in Navy blue to symbolize the Navy before changing to Khaki.

Details include:
- Seabees back stencil.
- USN front stencil (visible underneath of the patch).
- CB front stencil.
- Front patch.
- Alpaca lining.
- Wool knitted cuffs.
- Underarms ventilation eyelets.
- Killer repairs.
- Golden Talon zipper.
- Hanging loop.
- Made in USA.

United States Naval Construction Battalions, better known as the Navy Seabees, form the U.S. Naval Construction Force. The Seabee nickname is a heterograph of the initial letters "CB" from the words "Construction Battalion".
