1920s RARE BROWN'S BEACH JACKET BUCKLE-BACK VEST

DESCRIPTION
Really rare to find Brown's Beach vest with buckle back!
Still with original label.
Originally developed in Worcester, MA in 1901, the Brown's Beach Jacket brand was built with the intention of combatting the cold Massachusetts winters. The brand closed down in the 1960s, until they were recently relaunched in Japan.
FABRIC Brown's Beach fabric (I reckon 70% cotton and 30% wool).
YEAR 1920s.
I supposed this one was from the 30s or 40s, but actually I've just found the original receipt from BerBerJin (in Tokyo) that says "20's Browns Beach"...
I think we can all trust their experience!
That, of course, explains why I paid it so much :(
CONDITION Very good vintage condition especially if you consider it's ALMOST 100 years old! The interior fleece still in great shape. All the buttons are still perfectly working. Some wear mainly on the piping and minor holes. Still with lots of life!
