Stunning 1940s sweatshirt from Point O'Woods Beach (Fire Island, New York, USA).
Really difficult to find such an old sweatshirt in such a good shape and size!
Personally I love the graphic, the little stamp and the big V detail on the neck!
Details include:

Point O' Woods is said to have been the first European-American settlement on Fire Island. The settlement was originally organized in 1894 for religious retreats, some from the Chautauqua assemblies.
FABRIC 100% cotton.
YEAR 1940s.
CONDITION Lots of little stains and marks, but nothing too visible.
A few micro holes. Little period repair on the waist (see pictures).
Flock print practically gone but still visible.
Beautiful patina. Fabric is soft but strong.
Overall in great solid condition.
