The Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets (often The Corps of Cadets, or simply the Corps) is a student military organization at Texas A&M University. Established with the university in 1876, it is the oldest student organization on campus.
Details include:

Ol' Sarge (the strong-jawed sergeant) was a creation of Pete Tumlinson. He first appeared in the Battalion Humor Magazine in 1938 and continued until the early 1960s. His brother, Richard "Dick" Tumlinson, compiled all of Pete's works into a book "Magarkin: The Original Ol’ Sarge".

FABRIC Cotton and acrylic mix.

YEAR From the label I would say it's from the 70s.

CONDITION Great condition - only a light paint stain on the right sleeve. Champion label still present.
